There Are Many Solutions to Homelessness
in Central Arkansas! You Can Be One!

The SOAR Network is a growing collaboration of agencies, churches, businesses, individuals, and the homeless themselves.

We are bringing together the services, resources, talents, knowledge, and abilities that exist in our area to focus them on developing solutions for homelessness in Pulaski County.

Click the "no account yet? Register" link at the top and become one of the solutions.

It is our sincere belief that everyone in our area has a piece of the solution to homelessness.  It is through bringing together our individual pieces and fitting them together that we will develop strong, effective, long term solutions to the problem of homelessness.
Get Involved!                We Need You!

There are many ways you can become actively involved in ending homelessness in Central Arkansas.  If you can contribute as little as a couple hours a month, there is a place for you.  Click the Get Involved button under the About Us menu or the Volunteer Opportunities graphic below for some of the ways you can help end homelessness.

The SOAR Network is currently organized into nine different Action Committees that are working to address different issue areas of homelessness such as housing and shelter, employment, health, treatment, and transportation.  Anyone interested in any of these issue areas is encouraged to get actively involved in one or more of these committees.  Click the Action Committees button on the top menu for a list of committees and to visit a committee's home page.

We hope you will look around our online commUNITY and that when you do you see the potential that is the SOAR Network.  Register for an identity in the network and become an active part of the solution to homelessness in Central Arkansas.

" There is no excellence anywhere without labor. We would think a man foolish indeed who would say, "l am willing that my business should prosper, or that my farm should yield plentifully, but I'll not stir a peg." But he is no more foolish than the man who says, "I am willing that God should bless me abundantly, but I shall not do anything toward that end myself." We must consistently rely upon the help of the Lord, but we will not make any progress or meet with any success unless we put forth an earnest effort. "
Charles W. Nibley
